Wine
Reception
A
wine reception will take place on Monday August 4th between 6.15-8pm
in the bar of Grand Parade. All registered delegates are cordially
invited to attend this welcome event. Wine and other refreshments will
be served free of charge, and a cash bar will also be open for a more
diverse selection of beverages. Note
that the poster session will take place at the same time in the North
Gallery, adjacent to the bar.
Conference
Dinner
The
conference dinner takes place on Wednesday August 6th at 7.30pm for 8pm,
at the Paganini Ballroom, Ship Street (maps will be provided at the
conference). The dinner is followed by live jazz (from 10pm to midnight) - for
more details, see Chip
Jenkins Jazz. There will be a bar available for refreshments.
Dinner is £35 per person. Delegates wishing to
attend the dinner should indicate so on their registration form. Dinner
places are limited and therefore available on a first-come-first-served
basis.
Shakespeare's
The Merchant of Venice
The
Rainbow Shakespeare Company is presenting The Merchant of Venice
in the Sallis Benney Garden on the Grand Parade campus on
Wednesday 6th, Thursday 7th and Friday 8th. Tickets cost £15.
Conference delegates are kindly offered a 10% discount. To book a
